People started trickling in the shop around eleven thirty. Adam sousa showed up, explained that he had been in scotland all summer, not dead as I had previously assumed. Routes were discussed, Devan showed up right at 11:59, I'd never met him before, but he seemed in shape (turns out his sister rides for sashun and he races the rouge ever year) At 12:05 7 riders started pushing hard, and Eryn called to say he'd be racing as well, he was just going to cheat by waiting at thetis lake until he saw someone, then jumping in. Adam sousa caught a bus (didn't even win, but nice try). at the 51 minute mark, Ben and I could see Dale and Devon pushing full speed towards the finish line, red lights be damned the came full tilt in. We had place our kicker on the sidewalk for a finish line. Dale crashed into it to win. Devon came a close second to win his Entry back. Josh from sooke got lost for 40 min, showed up dead last. Page was pretty late, guess he got lost too. Party insued.
